A ‘Hassock’ is that name for an ottoman or footstool, especially one used in a church.
We are always looking for people to help out, both on a paid and voluntary basis. We need people with enough technical knowledge to safety check bikes on their way out and back in. For those that have the knowledge to do hires alone, this is paid work.
Our hiring business is continuing to pick up for the summer season. We recently hired bikes to a party of 14 visiting from Belgium and this weekend we have a customer coming from as far away as Canada to ride the South Downs area.
Other than our visitors from overseas, we have served a mixture of social groups of younger people and families recently.
Click here for more information or contact us via our mobile phone 07521 961 909 or our email address firstname.lastname@example.org. We will arrange to have the bikes ready for an agreed time and collect them on return. The checking of the bikes will be carried out by trained technicians while their issue will be by a combination of technicians and volunteers.
We are open on Saturday mornings between 9 and 12 to sell bike spares, take requests for servicing or hires, and act as a human face for the enterprise. It will be manned by volunteers but there will be the possibility of on the spot minor repairs if trained personnel are on duty.
Just call us on 07521 961 909 or email us at email@example.com making it clear that you would like to find out more about how you could volunteer or help in any capacity.
